Whether you’re experiencing difficulties right now or dealing with something that has affected you for longer, we’ll work with you at a pace that feels right.
SELF-REFERRAL
If you’re aged 16–25, you can contact The Destiny Project directly to enquire about counselling support.
Our qualified counsellors provide confidential sessions designed around you and what you want to explore. You don’t need to have everything figured out before contacting us — reaching out is enough to start the conversation.

We also accept referrals from organisations and professionals supporting children, young people and families across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
This can include referrals from schools, youth-work organisations, local authorities, social services and other community or support services.

Once we receive an enquiry or referral, we’ll make contact to discuss the person’s needs and whether The Destiny Project’s counselling service is suitable.
Where we’re unable to provide the right support, we’ll aim to signpost you towards another appropriate service.
