Brew & Belong is The Destiny Project SCIO’s community hub for veterans and members of the Armed Forces community.
Leaving the Armed Forces can mean much more than changing jobs. For some, it can mean losing the routine, camaraderie and sense of belonging that came with service. Brew & Belong provides a relaxed space where people can come together, have a brew, share some forces banter and spend time with others who understand that experience.
There’s no parade square, no rank and no expectation to talk about anything you don’t want to.
Just turn up, grab a brew and be yourself.
Brew & Belong is informal by design. Come along for a cuppa, some toast or biscuits and a chat.
You might talk about life after service, football, family, the good old days, or absolutely nothing military whatsoever. There’s no pressure and no formal programme you have to follow.
Where someone needs additional support, we can also help identify and signpost appropriate services and organisations.
Brew & Belong welcomes members of the Armed Forces community, including veterans and those transitioning from military to civilian life.
