We have a number of frontline services designed to provide consistent support to families that are in need of support related to
Health
Poverty
Education
Environment
We also have background opportunities for volunteers that don’t wish to do frontline work, which is equally valuable to The Destiny Project, as well as opportunities to support The Destiny Project financially.

We are looking for individuals aged 18+ to work with young people aged 8-17 weekly on a one to one basis.
They would support the young people create goals, do activities with them and me a listening ear.
We are looking for leaders to run our Health walks on a Friday afternoon 2-4, the volunteer will lead the walk in the local area promoting the need to talking about mental health.
We have various area subgroups including Prestonpans, Wallyford and Leith who require local people to get involved via there area subgroup.
Activities include idea gathering, decision making with there area and would have opportunities to participate in a panel that judges the Destiny Projects performance.
This is a joint volunteer opportunity with our friends at Beyond Boundaries East Lothian where volunteers will will support individuals who have physical and learning disabilities with outdoor activities including cycling and water activities.
Art club is a weekly activity and you will work with children and young people aged 8-11 with various art activities
Join the team to support the projects fundraising efforts through events, grants and other exciting and fun activities.
We are looking for office volunteers to support the team with general office duties for example taking calls, meeting and greeting guests.
Wallyford in bloom is an incredible opportunity for Wallyford.
This is a mixture of activities from planting flowers to litter picks and everything in between.
